Yes, its festive spirit all the way.. its #Christmas time and the school #vacations have already started. As a parent, I always wonder what should I do keep my #toddler busy and keep the festive spirit alive!
Every year, I do few activities at home for Christmas, it helps my #child to explore the world of imagination! Its simply amazing to see her learning and exploring things and of-course, the amazing smile she has on her face every time we complete an activity.
So, here is the list:
- Making & Decorating a Christmas tree: She loves painting, so we decide to draw and paint a Christmas tree. Then after drawing and coloring it with green, she decorates it with different colors 🙂 Its wonderful to see her excitement in choosing the colors and shapes to draw. Also we decorate a small Christmas tree. So its shopping time, first and then decorating the tree while listening Christmas songs 🙂
2. Crafts: We also make other crafts like reindeer hats. Other ideas – * Simple holiday cards in the shape of mittens, * Popcorn garland (be careful with the needle), * play doh x-mas tress, * Making collarge of your family photo for the current year. *You can use your thumbs to decorate the x-mas tree balls.
3. Baking a Cake: Christmas is incomplete without a home-made cake, so we bake a cake.. & here is a Pineapple up-side-down cake, yummy!
4. I make sure that we go to a mall or a party where she can see Santa Claus and have some fun!
5.Last be not the least, become her secret Santa and give her gift 🙂 This year its going be story books for her.
Hope these tips make your vacation wonderful and colorful. Happy Holiday! And wish you a very Merry Christmas 🙂 Ho Ho Ho!
Take Care 🙂
